La magia del modelismo y los trenes en miniatura \u2013hasta milim\u00e9tricos- es la pasi\u00f3n del Dr. Andr\u00e9s Maturana, neonat\u00f3logo de Cl\u00ednica Alemana y docente de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad del Desarrollo, la que present\u00f3 en un nuevo Coloquio de Humanidades en el Hospital Padre Hurtado.<\/p>\n

Durante el encuentro, el Dr. Maturana explic\u00f3 que se trata de una actividad que toma horas de trabajo manual, de una precisi\u00f3n milim\u00e9trica que requiere de concentraci\u00f3n y paciencia infinitos. A su vez, cont\u00f3 hasta d\u00f3nde se remonta esta actividad y c\u00f3mo la ha complementado con su exigente carrera, dedicada a la atenci\u00f3n de dif\u00edciles casos de ni\u00f1os prematuros.<\/p>\n

En este contexto, habl\u00f3 a los asistentes sobre el desaf\u00edo de construir modelos a escala, id\u00e9nticos de trenes y locomotoras hist\u00f3ricas. A su vez, mostr\u00f3 distintos parques en Alemania y Estados Unidos, donde se desarrolla esta actividad, destacando tambi\u00e9n personalidades del mundo de la m\u00fasica que se han dedicado al modelismo de trenes, entre ellos, Rod Steward.<\/p>\n

Desde su experiencia, cuenta que uno de los grandes beneficios de tener un hobby es que acompa\u00f1a en momentos dif\u00edciles; a su vez, tener esta afici\u00f3n de tanta precisi\u00f3n y que se relaciona con el juego le ha ayudado en su vida personal y profesional, para eliminar todo el estr\u00e9s. \u201cUno de los logros de ciertos pasatiempos es que logre proteger ciertos espacios y ponga l\u00edmites al tiempo que nos absorbe el trabajo\u201d, enfatiza.<\/p>\n
