Carolina Ram\u00edrez con sus 10 medallas ganadas <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Carolina Ram\u00edrez, investigadora del Programa Hantavirus y Zoonosis del Instituto de Ciencias e Innovaci\u00f3n en Medicina (ICIM) de la Facultad de Medicina Cl\u00ednica Alemana Universidad del Desarrollo, tuvo una actuaci\u00f3n destacada al lograr 10 medallas en el Panamericano y Sudamericano de nataci\u00f3n Master 2022, realizado en la ciudad de Medell\u00edn, Colombia, a finales del mes de julio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carolina obtuvo el campeonato, colg\u00e1ndose las medallas de oro, en el Sudamericano en las categor\u00edas de 800 metros libres, 400 metros combinados, 100 y 200 metros espalda. Asimismo, gan\u00f3 la medalla de plata en los 200 metros combinados. Mientras que, en el Panamericano obtuvo el tercer lugar en los 400 metros combinados, un sexto lugar en los 800 metros libres, y tres s\u00e9ptimos lugares en los 100 y 200 metros espalda, y en los 200 metros combinados.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPara mi fue un orgullo representar a Chile en un campeonato tan importante a nivel Panamericano y Sudamericano. Esto sin duda fue fruto de mi esfuerzo de casi 20 a\u00f1os nadando, y que haya culminado con ser campeona suramericana en tres modalidades y con un tercer lugar en el panamericano, es incre\u00edble\u201d,<\/em> indic\u00f3 la investigadora ICIM UDD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carolina se\u00f1al\u00f3 que, fue muy compleja la competencia debido a las altas temperaturas que hac\u00eda en Medell\u00edn, adicional a los nervios que ten\u00eda de estar representando al pa\u00eds en esta cita deportiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYo llegu\u00e9 muy nerviosa, pero mi entrenador me dijo que no ten\u00eda que hacer algo extra, que esto era lo que hab\u00edamos entrenado durante meses y que iba cumplir con todas las pruebas. En un momento pens\u00e9 que no lo lograr\u00eda, porque hac\u00eda much\u00edsimo calor y me faltaba el aire. El clima fue muy duro, hab\u00eda mucha humedad, pero al final pude hacerlo\u201d,<\/em> destac\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carolina tras vivir esta experiencia y conseguir tan destacada actuaci\u00f3n, indic\u00f3 que no hay metas inalcanzables, y que con trabajo y sacrificio se pueden lograr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYo me propuse ir a este Panamericano, y a pesar que fue muy duro organizar mis tiempos para entrenar, y sin descuidar mi labor de investigadora en el ICIM, pude cumplir con mi meta\u201d<\/em>, dijo la nadadora chilena.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahora el pr\u00f3ximo desaf\u00edo de Carolina, se centrar\u00e1 en clasificarse al Mundial de la categor\u00eda que se realizar\u00e1 en Fukuoka, Jap\u00f3n, del 02 al 11 de agosto del 2023, pero primero tendr\u00e1 tres oportunidades para lograr la clasificaci\u00f3n a este magno evento. La primera de \u00e9stas, ser\u00e1 en la XVIII Coppa Italia Master de Nataci\u00f3n en las dependencias del Stadio Italiano de Santiago, este 20 de agosto. A continuaci\u00f3n, se realizar\u00e1 la Copa Universidad Cat\u00f3lica el pr\u00f3ximo 15 de octubre; y el \u00faltimo boleto hacia el Mundial de Jap\u00f3n, lo podr\u00eda conseguir en el Campeonato Nacional de Nataci\u00f3n Master de Verano, a realizarse entre el 5 al 8 de enero del pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o en Chile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
