El objetivo principal fue compartir y actualizar conocimientos en torno a la investigaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica y cl\u00ednica, as\u00ed como explorar perspectivas cient\u00edficas, familiares, cl\u00ednicas e industriales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Charlas, Talleres y Participaci\u00f3n de Expertos de Renombre<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El congreso ofreci\u00f3 un programa diverso con charlas plenarias, talleres introductorios, discusiones de casos cl\u00ednicos y presentaciones de posters y comunicaciones libres. Entre los 24 expertos nacionales e internacionales que participaron, destacaron:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00c1ngel Aledo (Instituto de Neurociencias, Hospitales Universitarios Vithas, Madrid), quien profundiz\u00f3 en el tratamiento de adolescentes y adultos con epilepsias gen\u00e9ticas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Amber Freed (CEO de SLC6A1 Connect), quien comparti\u00f3 su experiencia como madre y lider\u00f3 un di\u00e1logo sobre los desaf\u00edos de las agrupaciones de pacientes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rikke S. M\u00f8ller, PhD (Danish Epilepsy Center, Dinamarca), quien abord\u00f3 la medicina de precisi\u00f3n y el tratamiento multidisciplinario de la epilepsia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dr. Roberto Caraballo, M.D. (Hospital de Pediatr\u00eda Garrahan, Argentina), quien expuso sobre encefalopat\u00edas epil\u00e9pticas y gen\u00e9ticas, adem\u00e1s de participar en un panel sobre estrategias multidisciplinarias de manejo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dennis Lal (UTHealth Houston, USA), con una presentaci\u00f3n sobre recursos en l\u00ednea para la atenci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica informada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Isabel Azn\u00e1rez, PhD (Stoke Therapeutics, USA), quien destac\u00f3 avances en posibles tratamientos para el s\u00edndrome de Dravet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Eduardo P\u00e9rez, PhD (ICIM, Universidad del Desarrollo), organizador principal, quien analiz\u00f3 la incidencia y prevalencia de epilepsias gen\u00e9ticas en Latinoam\u00e9rica, adem\u00e1s de resaltar la importancia de la colaboraci\u00f3n para futuros avances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Clausura y Compromiso Futuro<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El evento culmin\u00f3 con un mensaje de la decana de la Facultad de Medicina Cl\u00ednica Alemana Universidad del Desarrollo, Dra. Marcela Castillo, quien celebr\u00f3 la llegada de la medicina de precisi\u00f3n y su impacto positivo en pacientes y comunidades. La Dra. Castillo enfatiz\u00f3 la importancia de la colaboraci\u00f3n entre familias, profesionales y acad\u00e9micos para seguir mejorando la salud en Chile y Latinoam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalmente, se realiz\u00f3 una ceremonia de premiaci\u00f3n para reconocer la participaci\u00f3n y el compromiso de todos los asistentes. Seg\u00fan Eduardo P\u00e9rez, este congreso marca el inicio de una serie de encuentros que buscar\u00e1n fortalecer la red de colaboraci\u00f3n regional en epilepsias
