En el marco del m\u00f3dulo Uso y Generaci\u00f3n de Conocimiento 2.1<\/strong>, correspondiente al Anillo II de la renovada malla curricular<\/strong> de la carrera de Medicina, los estudiantes de segundo a\u00f1o<\/strong> de la Facultad de Medicina Cl\u00ednica Alemana Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD)<\/strong> presentaron sus proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n biom\u00e9dica<\/strong>, desarrollados durante el primer semestre de 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las propuestas fueron elaboradas bajo la supervisi\u00f3n de 23 investigadores e investigadoras<\/strong> del Instituto de Ciencias e Innovaci\u00f3n en Medicina (ICIM)<\/strong>, abordando una amplia variedad de temas vinculados a las principales l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n del Instituto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan explic\u00f3 el Dr. Juan Francisco Calder\u00f3n<\/strong>, coordinador del m\u00f3dulo, esta actividad representa una instancia clave dentro del nuevo plan formativo de Medicina UDD:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLos estudiantes est\u00e1n completamente inmersos en el ecosistema de investigaci\u00f3n de nuestra universidad y ya son due\u00f1os de su proyecto, el que durante el segundo semestre comenzar\u00e1n a ejecutar con el objetivo de obtener resultados que impacten directamente en el manejo de pacientes y en problem\u00e1ticas reales que abordamos desde el ICIM\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

En total, se conformaron 23 grupos de estudiantes<\/strong>, cada uno trabajando en un proyecto distinto. Durante la jornada, las y los estudiantes presentaron sus propuestas ante un panel de expertos del ICIM<\/strong>, quienes evaluaron la factibilidad, estructura y metodolog\u00eda de los estudios, entregando retroalimentaci\u00f3n especializada para su futura ejecuci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta instancia pr\u00e1ctica y formativa refleja el enfoque innovador de la nueva malla de Medicina UDD, que busca vincular tempranamente a sus estudiantes con la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica de alto nivel, con una visi\u00f3n aplicada al quehacer cl\u00ednico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCreemos que esta es una experiencia fundamental para que nuestros futuros m\u00e9dicos comprendan c\u00f3mo la investigaci\u00f3n biom\u00e9dica se transforma en soluciones concretas para los pacientes. Es un paso clave para formar profesionales que entiendan que la medicina tambi\u00e9n se construye desde la ciencia\u201d<\/em>, concluy\u00f3 el Dr. Calder\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
