Investigadores del Centro de Medicina Regenerativa de la Facultad de Medicina Cl\u00ednica Alemana Universidad del Desarrollo participaron en el Congreso Internacional \u201cStem Cells: From Basic Biology to Disease Therapies\u201d, organizado por la International Society for Stem Cells Research, \"Marcelo<\/a>realizado en Suzhou, China.<\/p>\n

En la ocasi\u00f3n, Marcelo Ezquer y Fernando Ezquer presentaron su investigaci\u00f3n \u201cDerivados acelulares de c\u00e9lulas troncales mesenquim\u00e1ticas promueven la regeneraci\u00f3n hep\u00e1tica con individuos con esteatosis despu\u00e9s de una cirug\u00eda de resecci\u00f3n hep\u00e1tica\u201d, que consiste en la elaboraci\u00f3n de un producto derivado de estas c\u00e9lulas que permite la regeneraci\u00f3n del h\u00edgado en estado graso.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan cuenta Marcelo Ezquer, \u201cten\u00edamos antecedentes del efecto terap\u00e9utico y regenerativo de las c\u00e9lulas para el h\u00edgado en esteatosis, por lo que quisimos ir m\u00e1s all\u00e1 y vimos que, al aislar los componentes que secretan las c\u00e9lulas, pod\u00edamos obtener un producto que cuenta con una serie de ventajas, entre ellas la de ser m\u00e1s estandarizable y m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido de aplicar\u201d. Actualmente, este biof\u00e1rmaco se encuentra en proceso de patentamiento.<\/p>\n

\"Anita<\/a>En tanto, Anita Plaza expuso parte de su tesis doctoral sobre uso de c\u00e9lulas troncales mesenquim\u00e1ticas en la displasia oral, presentando la evaluaci\u00f3n de la bioseguridad del trasplante de estas c\u00e9lulas en lesiones precancerosas.<\/p>\n

Este Congreso, que fue la reuni\u00f3n local de la International Society for Stem Cells Research para el continente asi\u00e1tico, tuvo como objetivo destacar las \u00faltimas direcciones de la investigaci\u00f3n con c\u00e9lulas madre, las nuevas t\u00e9cnicas existentes y las distintas aplicaciones terap\u00e9uticas disponibles. Para esto, reuni\u00f3 a reconocidos especialistas a nivel mundial, quienes presentaron sus variadas investigaciones y avances cient\u00edficos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
