{"id":5217,"date":"2017-07-14T17:17:00","date_gmt":"2017-07-14T17:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/?p=5217"},"modified":"2017-07-14T17:17:00","modified_gmt":"2017-07-14T17:17:00","slug":"5217","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/2017\/07\/14\/5217\/","title":{"rendered":"Con \u00e9xito se realiz\u00f3 el XI Seminario Internacional de Bio\u00e9tica"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5220 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2017\/07\/IMG_9295-300x167.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9295\" width=\"332\" height=\"185\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2017\/07\/IMG_9295-300x167.jpg 300w, https:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2017\/07\/IMG_9295-440x245.jpg 440w, https:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2017\/07\/IMG_9295.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 332px) 100vw, 332px\" \/>Bio\u00e9tica y Vulnerabilidad<\/strong>, fueron los temas centrales del\u00a0<strong>XI Seminario Internacional de Bio\u00e9tica<\/strong>, organizado por el Centro de Bio\u00e9tica de la Facultad de Medicina Cl\u00ednica Alemana Universidad del Desarrollo, realizado durante los d\u00edas 7 y 8 de julio en Santiago, y que cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de diez presentadores nacionales e internacionales.<\/p>\n<p>En total, fueron 110 los asistentes a la actividad que tuvo como objetivo reflexionar sobre el estado de las personas que padecen de un mayor \u00edndice de vulnerabilidad y el rol que tiene el profesional de la salud como un protector de este grupo.<\/p>\n<p>Algunos de los temas abordados en las distintas exposiciones y paneles del seminario fueron la enfermedad mental, pobreza y discriminaci\u00f3n; la incapacidad y discriminaci\u00f3n arbitraria; el rol del profesional frente a las personas vulneradas; y la migraci\u00f3n e impacto social, entre varios otros.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5218 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2017\/07\/IMG_9279-300x185.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9279\" width=\"335\" height=\"207\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2017\/07\/IMG_9279-300x185.jpg 300w, https:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2017\/07\/IMG_9279.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 335px) 100vw, 335px\" \/>Cabe destacar que esta und\u00e9cima versi\u00f3n del seminario cont\u00f3 con la presencia de las destacadas profesoras internacionales Nuria Terribas, directora de la Fundaci\u00f3n V\u00edctor Gr\u00edfols i Lucas de Barcelona, y Bego\u00f1a Ram\u00f3n, doctora en filosof\u00eda del Instituto Borja de Bio\u00e9tica de la Universidad Ram\u00f3n Llull, quien cada a\u00f1o participa activamente en este encuentro presentando diversos temas relacionados con la bio\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n<p>La doctora Carmen Astete, directora del Centro de Bio\u00e9tica, recalc\u00f3 la importancia de reflexionar como sociedad en torno a la manera en la que estamos tratando a las personas con un mayor \u00edndice de vulnerabilidad y el rol del profesional como un protector de ellos, afirmando que \u201cla discriminaci\u00f3n y el no darles oportunidades es una forma de humillarnos y da\u00f1arlos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5219 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2017\/07\/IMG_9280-300x207.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9280\" width=\"320\" height=\"221\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2017\/07\/IMG_9280-300x207.jpg 300w, https:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2017\/07\/IMG_9280.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/>En tanto, el doctor Juan Pablo Beca, fundador y docente del Centro de Bio\u00e9tica, se refiri\u00f3 a la necesidad de hacer un cambio de actitud cultural a nivel general, que elimine los tipos de discriminaci\u00f3n existentes que aumentan la vulnerabilidad en las personas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLos seres humanos tenemos prejuicios, y ah\u00ed caemos en excesos de muchos tipos. Entonces hay una cultura que lamentablemente contin\u00faa discriminando, pero por otro lado, hay un enorme aumento de la aceptaci\u00f3n. En mi opini\u00f3n, un buen ejemplo es que en cuanto al inmigrante hemos evolucionado muy favorablemente.
