B\u00e1ltica Cabieses, investigadora del Programa de Estudios Sociales en Salud del Instituto de Ciencias e Innovaci\u00f3n en Medicina (iniciativa de la Universidad del Desarrollo y Cl\u00ednica Alemana), fue invitada por la Organizaci\u00f3n Panamericana de la Salud (OMS\/OPS), en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional para las Migraciones, a participar como experta en encuentros de la Iniciativa conjunta de Migraci\u00f3n y Salud y la Reuni\u00f3n sobre Salud de las personas migrantes en las Am\u00e9ricas.<\/p>\n
A las reuniones, realizados en Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, asistieron miembros de la Secretar\u00eda de Salud de M\u00e9xico, de organismos internacionales vinculados a la tem\u00e1tica, adem\u00e1s de representantes de gobiernos de la Regi\u00f3n, de la sociedad civil y la academia.<\/p>\n
De esta serie de actividades, se espera alcanzar documentos de posici\u00f3n sobre la salud de migrantes internacionales que surjan de la visi\u00f3n, experiencia y evidencia generada por expertos en la materia.<\/p>\n
En ese sentido, destaca el desarrollo de una postura regional sobre salud de las personas migrantes en las Am\u00e9ricas como insumo para la construcci\u00f3n del Pacto Mundial para una migraci\u00f3n segura, ordenada y regular.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
