Con estas palabras, Craig Anderson, Executive Director del The George Institute de China, agradeci\u00f3 a la Universidad del Desarrollo por haberle dado el t\u00edtulo de Profesor Visitante Permanente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">El doctor Anderson, recibi\u00f3 la distinci\u00f3n de manos del rector Federico Vald\u00e9s, en una ceremonia en la que participaron adem\u00e1s el prorrector Ernesto Silva; el vicerrector de Investigaci\u00f3n y Doctorados Sergio Hern\u00e1ndez; el decano de la Facultad de Medicina Cl\u00ednica Alemana Universidad del Desarrollo, Ricardo Ronco; la directora de Investigaci\u00f3n y Doctorados UDD, Denise Saint-Jean; el director del Instituto de Ciencias e Innovaci\u00f3n en Medicina (ICIM), Pablo Vial; y la directora del Centro de Estudios Cl\u00ednicos ICIM, Paula Mu\u00f1oz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Vald\u00e9s se refiri\u00f3 a la continua colaboraci\u00f3n que ha tenido Anderson durante los \u00faltimos 10 a\u00f1os principalmente con el Dr. Pablo Lavados -acad\u00e9mico de la Facultad de Medicina- y ahora como miembro del Directorio del mencionado Centro de Estudios Cl\u00ednicos, en representaci\u00f3n del George Institute for Global Health, instituci\u00f3n con la que la UDD tiene una alianza estrat\u00e9gica orientada a potenciar al m\u00e1ximo la experiencia y conocimiento de los alumnos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Asimismo, el Rector destac\u00f3 la producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica que ha tenido el Dr. Anderson en enfermedades cerebro vascular, y la destacada colaboraci\u00f3n con m\u00e9dicos de la Cl\u00ednica Alemana y profesores investigadores, como la Dra. Paula Mu\u00f1oz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Anderson, por su parte, explic\u00f3 que el prop\u00f3sito de sus investigaciones ha sido contribuir a la humanidad, y que ha tenido el privilegio de ver que los resultados de ellas han mejorado la salud p\u00fablica en varias regiones del mundo.
