migrantes Internacionales, organizado por el Instituto de Ciencias e Innovaci\u00f3n en Medicina (ICIM) de la Facultad de Medicina Cl\u00ednica Alemana Universidad del Desarrollo, que se llev\u00f3 a cabo el pasado 2 de octubre en las instalaciones de la FAO, se oficializ\u00f3 el lanzamiento del libro testimonial \u201cEncuentros Interculturales en Salud\u201d; y posteriormente se present\u00f3 la nueva p\u00e1gina web del Observatorio Digital de Salud de Migrantes en Chile (<a href=\"https:\/\/saludinmigrantes.cl\/\">https:\/\/saludinmigrantes.cl\/<\/a>)<\/p>\n<div id=\"gallery-1\" class=\"sr-only\">Siguiente<\/span><\/a><\/footer><\/div>\n<p>\u201cTanto el libro como la p\u00e1gina web responden a la necesidad pa\u00eds de abordar la tem\u00e1tica de salud de personas migrantes internacionales en el pa\u00eds. Consideramos que este es un paso muy importante, que busca aportar con nuevas miradas, basadas en la evidencia cient\u00edfica, sobre c\u00f3mo enfrentar tem\u00e1ticas de salud p\u00fablica y de atenci\u00f3n directa a migrantes en Chile\u201d, sostuvo la directora del Programa de Estudios Sociales UDD, B\u00e1ltica Cabieses, y coeditora del libro, junto a la docente investigadora Mar\u00eda Eliana Correa<\/p>\n<p>Al finalizar la jornada, la vicedecana de Desarrollo de la Facultad de Medicina UDD, Carla Benaglio, y el Dr. Ren\u00e9 Leyva, del Instituto de Salud P\u00fablica de M\u00e9xico, comentaron el libro, destacando el gran trabajo testimonial reflejado, donde se muestra una dura realidad que afrontan los inmigrantes en Chile, como por ejemplo en acceso a la salud y por ende causas de enfermedades infecciosas y cr\u00f3nicas, los da\u00f1os mentales que se ocasionan por el impacto de emigrar, entre otros.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7996\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7996\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7996 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2019\/10\/IMG_1189-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2019\/10\/IMG_1189-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2019\/10\/IMG_1189-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2019\/10\/IMG_1189-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/medicina.udd.cl\/icim\/files\/2019\/10\/IMG_1189-600x400.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7996\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Carla Benaglio &#8211; Vicedecana de Desarrollo de la Facultad de Medicina UDD<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cLos migrantes en Chile no la pasan muy bien y lo que muestra este libro es impactante y debe ser tomado en cuenta por las autoridades, para as\u00ed valer los derechos y deberes de todo extranjero que decide por una raz\u00f3n u otra dar este paso hacia otro pa\u00eds.
