class=\"sr-only\">Siguiente<\/span><\/a><\/footer><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">El rector de la Universidad del Desarrollo, Federico Vald\u00e9s, encabez\u00f3 la ceremonia de premiaci\u00f3n en la que se distinguieron a 59\u00a0profesores de la sede Santiago por su comprometida labor en la formaci\u00f3n de los alumnos y transmitir el sello que la UDD busca imprimir en sus estudiantes, bajo los conceptos de excelencia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cNos reunimos esta tarde para premiar a nuestros profesores de excelencia del a\u00f1o 2015. A quienes juegan el rol primordial en esta Universidad. A quienes encomendamos la m\u00e1s importante de todas las tareas que desarrollamos en esta instituci\u00f3n: la de formar a los alumnos que han confiado en nosotros. A quienes nos permiten responder a la confianza de tantas familias de nuestro pa\u00eds, que depositan sus sue\u00f1os y anhelos en nosotros. A quienes se han destacado como los mejores profesores. Como los que mejor encarnan el esp\u00edritu de la UDD\u201d, manifest\u00f3 Vald\u00e9s en su discurso de bienvenida.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">En la oportunidad, el rector se refiri\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n a la Acreditaci\u00f3n otorgada por la CNA a la Universidad, siendo \u201cla mejor noticia del a\u00f1o 2016\u201d para la UDD.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cLa acreditaci\u00f3n, por cinco a\u00f1os, recientemente otorgada, por primera vez incluye el \u00c1rea de Investigaci\u00f3n. Creemos que es un reconocimiento a la extraordinaria labor realizada desde hace 27 a\u00f1os por una comunidad universitaria comprometida con la excelencia. Estamos profundamente orgullosos, especialmente por el reconocimiento a la calidad y envergadura de nuestra investigaci\u00f3n. Para dar un contexto adecuado, es necesario entender que las universidades en Chile se dividen en dos categor\u00edas muy diferentes: las complejas, que investigan y las docentes, que se enfocan en el pregrado. Son dos estrategias v\u00e1lidas que realizan un gran aporte al pa\u00eds, pero entre ellas hay un abismo de diferencia.
