The integration of the work of the Faculty and that of the various clinical areas is fundamental for the transformation process of students in their passage through the university, whether undergraduate or graduate. Experience and contact with the community, their environment, and vulnerable people, make them better professionals. That is why, as a patient approach strategy, in first year students attend these areas.
Clínica Alemana, Hospital Hurtado, Clínica UDD, and the Instituto Nacional del Cáncer are the main clinical training centers for students, who additionally can practice in an assortment of clinics, health care centers, and health institutions.
