This Institute performs studies in the areas of neurology, psychiatry, neurosurgery and psychology in a coordinated effort to establish transversal research with direct influence on patient care. Its joint projects of research with other institutions include Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, depression, cerebrovascular disease and addiction.
